Daily Gold Eagle Update

March 19, 2009 - Gold Eagle prices are skyrocketing for the second day in a row as flocks of investors run away from stocks and anything directly tied to the United States Dollar that could experience inflation in the near future due to the colossal amounts of fiat currency that is about to be pumped into a system. Today, gold Eagle prices are jumping up to their three-week high due to a tumbling United States Dollar after the news from the Federal Reserve said that they would spend $300 billion to purchase long dated treasuries. Long-term projections are saying that the Dollar could be devalued, which could be very beneficial for precious metal prices, especially since investors flock to them during times of inflationary fears. The Federal Reserve is also planning on keeping their lending rate at almost zero for extended time, which could continue to devalue the United States Dollar furthermore during the beginning of 2009. So far this year has shown a lot of fluctuation that has changed many investors’ minds about the market, so invest well and don’t forget to deal directly with reputable company that can help you diversify your assets appropriately.

During the midday trading hours, gold Eagle prices are increasing yet again which is bringing the spot price up to $955.50 per ounce, moving up 1.49% for the day and also moving up 1.34% for the year. The future for the metal will most likely rely on the strength of the United States Dollar that is currently floundering at the moment. In order to make a sound investment in precious metals, track both spot prices and the value of the Dollar versus its major competitors.
