At around 3 PM Eastern Standard Time, the daily market spot price of the metal is showing further declines after increasing in value 2.1% yesterday, and the metal is currently trading at around $886.30 per ounce, a drop of .71% for the day and also a drop of 4.69% in the last month. Despite the recent short-term movement, long-term gold Eagle price projections are expecting the spot price of the metal to peak at $1200 per ounce by the end of the year.
