Daily Gold Eagle Update

February 26, 2009 – As the global economy falls into one of the deepest and darkest holes yet, wise investors are looking to begin an American Eagle investment in order to possibly preserve their hard-earned wealth and also profit from the inflationary period that lies ahead. It’s odd to see that so many United States citizens believe that the recession is almost over because of the rising equities, yet they do not know the condition that we are in. In the past few years we have witnessed the United States go from a prospering country into one that is desperately seeking assistance due to an absolute collapse in its financial system. Unfortunately, the masses of investors haven’t realized the danger with traditional paper backed investments at the moment, which is why a historically solid alternative such as an American Eagle investment is not as popular as it should be at the moment. Right now would be an ideal time to hope for the best but prepare for the worst with bullion or certified rare Eagles.

During midday trading the gold spot price is falling once again to around $940 per ounce, a decrease of $12.10 or 1.27% for the day but still an increase of $1.70 or .18% in the last 365 days. Several of the yearly projections by financial institutions have changed and many now believe that $1000-$1200 per ounce will be the average price seen during 2009. This is considered to be just the beginning of significant growth and serious problems for the United States economy, so whatever lies in the future could be beneficial for precious metal investors.
